I'm passing the award love along and sharing....below are the rules...and I have tagged a few blogs for the award, too!
A Stylish Blog award was given to me from Cindy and her blog is Trail of Hats and Hopsitalitea.
This is exciting and I’m going to play along. As promised I’d be adding a few other bloggers.

The Rules.
Without delay here are the rules for the Stylish Award.
Here are the Rules
• First, thank and link back to the person who gave you this award
• Second, share 7 things about yourself
• Third, award 15 recently discovered great bloggers
• Then, contact these bloggers and tell them they’ve won this award

My list of seven.
- I grew up on Long Island and worked most of my career in New York City, but in 2007 my husband and I decided to chuck it all and move to rural Virginia and freelance for a living. It's been the best decision I've ever made.
- I won a nation short story contest at age 13. My story was chosen over 70 other stories, all written by adults.
- I do not like chocolate.
- I've collected model horses since my big sister gave me one of hers in 1974. In 2004, I opened a model horse company called EquinArt Creations, and today I write books and articles about the hobby, continue to collect, and share what I love with others.
- I have a lifelong love and fascination of all things from India....the food, the culture, the mythology, the people.
- I have the pen I used to write my first novel still on my desk, even though it ran out of ink sometime in the 1980s. It's always on my work desk somewhere for good luck.
- My sister and I used to lay on the lawn in the backyard and watch the planes coming in for landing at Kennedy Airport on Long Island....they flew so low over our childhood home that we could recite the serial numbers on the planes and watch the landing gear descend.
