Perennial Combinations: Pops of Color
I've been experimenting with perennial combinations
in the flower garden and today, this one struck me as particularly beautiful. The peony is a white "Festiva Maxima" and the dianthus is red. I don't know which one it is because the tag is so sunbleached I can't read the variety anymore. I love how the large white peony blossoms seem to pop against the hit of red, and the silvery green foliage of the dianthus is particularly lovely. I also stepped back and took a picture of the blue salvia with the white peony, another combination I like.
